Attorney Dale W. Klaus, born and raised in Florida, received his undergraduate degree in Liberal Studies with minors in Psychology, History, and Communications from the University of Central Florida in 1993.

In 1997, Mr. Klaus received his Juris Doctorate from Mercer University, in Macon, Georgia, and has been licensed with the Florida Bar since 1997 and with the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, since 1999.  During law school, he received the Faculty Award for Outstanding Achievement in Legal Writing.

From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Klaus worked as an assistant state attorney for the Twentieth Judicial Circuit in Naples, Florida, focusing on the prosecution of juvenile delinquency cases, many of which involved issues of domestic violence.

Mr. Klaus joined the law firm as an associate attorney in 2001, and became a shareholder in 2005.  He is a member of the Collier County Bar Association, where he is a past-chair of the Family Law Section and is currently a director of the Trial Lawyer Section; a member of the Florida Bar and the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar; and a past associate member of the Thomas S. Biggs Chapter of the American Inns of Court.  

Mr. Klaus has been named in Florida Trend's Legal Elite, 2007 to 2009, a Rising Star in Florida SuperLawyers 2009, and received the peer review rating of  BV® Distinguished™ Peer Review Rated^SM from Martindale-Hubbell®, the highest rating possible for an attorney with his years of practice.

Maria K. Tasker

Paralegal

Maria Katris Tasker was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa in 1987 and her certification for paralegal studies from Roosevelt University in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. She has more than twenty one years experience as a paralegal in family law, commercial litigation, residential construction, and title insurance. She has been employed with the firm for 11 years. She has her Advanced Certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants, and she is a Florida Registered Paralegal. She is also a Florida Notary Public.
